Many organizations implement USAID-funded projects which include subawards to local organizations. Local organizations are often essential to project success. Organizations need to manage subawards in ways that accomplish project objectives while assuring compliance with donor rules and regulations.
This InsideNGO workshop will provide participants with guidance, useful tools and best practices in managing sub-award programs. Groups will return to work with strategies to answer questions such as:
- How do you select, assess and strengthen a local partner?
- What funding mechanism is most appropriate for this subaward?
- How do you monitor program output, performance quality, financial accuracy and regulatory compliance?
InsideNGO is a global association of over 300 international relief and development organizations who share operational expertise, insights, and leading practices to better sustain organizations and support essential missions in changing times.
